Netiquette Guidelines pt2

I think it is very important to follow the netiquette guidelines when using the internet. I feel this way because of three reasons. One reason is because you cant tell someones emotion so emoticon can come in handy. Also because because you could get hurt really bad if you say the wrong thing to the wrong person. Last but not least you never really know who you're talking on the internet.
Saying the wrong on the internet has gotten many young teenagers hurt today. You could be just playing but that person cannot tell whether or not you're joking because you can't see each other though the internet so they can take what you're saying seriously.People die everyday for something stupid and one those stupid things is saying the wrong thing on the computer.
You never know who you're really talking to on the computer. You could be talking to a pedophile or rapist and not even know it. People get killed or hurt really

Smart Phones

                               Some people feel that smart phones in our school will only bring more negative attention to the classroom. I for one believe that this statement is only for some students. The students who only come to school because their parents made are the main ones i believe will bring the negative attention to the class most. As for the other students who come to school because they want to do something with their lives are the ones i believe will us their smart phones for something more useful like using the web or doing reasearch something.                                                                                                 
                                        I feel the negative attention will be the only ones bringing the negative attention to the classroom for three reasons. They dont really wanna be in school they're just there because their parents, guardians, or whoever they live with made them come to school. Also if they don't really wanna be in school they probably come to class being a class clown or just distracting the class because they don't wanna be there. Another thing is they don't wanna be in achool so they probably won't do their work and if the other students see them not doing anything then they'll probably stop doing their work also.
                                            The attentive students are way better than the others because they'll be there because they want to be not because they have to be. Instead of playing games,texting, and talking on the they'll on their phone for more useful stuff like finding out info about an upcoming reasearch project, or using Google to get information for a class assignment or homework.  I believe these students will only use their phone if they have a really serious situation and i think they'll probably be polite enough to ask for permisson to use their cell phones. I feel that only a certain amount of people should be able to use their smartphones in class.

Slide Animations

 I think slide animations can help the viewer way more than you just reading your presentation to them. If you show them the pictures then they'll understand your project more. The pictures will be way more interesting than them having to picture what is happening.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism and copyrights are alike because they both basically are written and made for your knowledge. Plagiarism is basically copying its like copying a copyright. Plagiarism is illegal because you're copying something you didn't really do it yourself, so basically its like you're stealing someone else's work.

Technology & People

I feel that change is 50/50. People  like inventors and animators create new technology for people to use everyday. Technology makes life so much easier to just push a button and your work is halfway done so you won't have  all the work. For example a vacuum you just push it around the floor and you're done instead o trying to sweep the floor which would take a while.

iPods

I don't feel listening to iPods are dangerous. Just because Mr. Gray was killed listening to his iPod doesnt mean it's going to happen to someone else. That's like saying if your friend jumped  off a bridge, you're going to do the same thing. I don't feel iPods are dangerous it just depends on if that person is aware of their surroundings.

Internet Ettiquette
